Britney Spears to pay tribute to Whitney
Britney Spears will take to the stage this week in a performance tribute to Whitney Houston. The Toxic singer has joined a star-studded line-up for the special Grammy Salute event. Britney broke the news to her 20 million Twitter followers on Tuesday evening. 'I am both honoured and humbled to take part in the GRAMMY salute to Whitney Houston on Thursday... She'll always be 1 of my heroes! (sic)" the star wrote. Further details surrounding the singer's performance have not been disclosed. Britney joins a cast including Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Céline Dion, Yolanda Adams and CeCe Winans. The tribute is scheduled to tape in Los Angeles on Thursday.
