A cantora norte-americana Lana Del Rey atua em 6 de julho Portugal, no festival Super Bock Super Rock, anunciou hoje a promotora Música no Coração na rede social Facebook . A 18ª edição do festival decorrerá de 5 a 7 de julho na Herdade do Cabeço da Flauta, perto da praia do Meco, Sesimbra, e conta já no cartaz com nomes como Incubus, Pete Doherty, The Horrors, Azaelia Banks e Regina Spektor, entre outros. O álbum de estreia de Lana Del Rey, «Born to Die», foi editado em Portugal a 30 de janeiro, meses depois de a artista se ter dado a conhecer com uma música na Internet. A história de Lana Del Rey, nome artístico de Elizabeth Grant, nova-iorquina de 25 anos, começa em 2011 quando a música «Video Games» é colocada no Youtube, interpretada então por uma desconhecida. A cantora tinha gravado em 2008 um álbum que nunca chegou a sair, mas foi no verão passado que deu nas vistas com aquela canção, que registou cerca de 20 milhões de visualizações na Internet.

Scissor Sisters return with their new single "Only The Horses" on 20th May. The New York band will release their fourth album "Magic Hour" on 28th May through Polydor. "Its a sweet joyful melange of beat-driven future-pop," says Jake Shears of 'Magic Hour'. "It style-hops all over the place unabashedly." For the new album, the band have been working a diverse list of new collaborators, such as Calvin Harris, Pharrell Williams, Diplo, Alex Rihda [BoysNoize] and Azealia Banks. The album was recorded over the past year in New York and London. 'Only The Horses' was co-produced with Calvin Harris. The band's relationship with Calvin started when Jake Shears was working with him on material for Kylie Minogue's Aphrodite album. BEACH HOUSE are pleased to share details of their fourth album, Bloom. Like their previous releases it further develops their distinctive sound yet stands apart as a new piece of work. The landscape of Bloom was largely designed on the road, between the countless sound checks and myriad experiences of two years of touring. These ideas were later gathered and developed in Baltimore, where the band lives and works. Bloom was recorded in late 2011 at Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, TX and mixed at Electric Lady in NYC. The band co-produced the record with Chris Coady. The many layers of Bloom are meticulously constructed to ensure that each chord and melody performs its role to form a whole. Victoria Legrand states, 'Bloom is a journey. For me, it is about the irreplaceable power of imagination as it relates to the intense experience of living.
